Andries Posted May 6, 2004 Posted May 6, 2004 I have the following problem:If I install windows with a unattended file he installed windows XP + add users.Windows must rebooting for "refreshing?" the users. And then I can installed Novell. But now he installed windows XP + Users + Novell and... WRONG failed to installed Novell. How can I refresh the users without rebooting the Windows XP machine?Or can I rebooted windows and after the reboot I run once the Novell installation?
kenedy Posted May 6, 2004 Posted May 6, 2004 What happens if you skip user adding?"XP + Novell" instead of "XP + Users + Novell"
Andries Posted May 7, 2004 Author Posted May 7, 2004 It is't possible! The (unattended) full automatically novell installation is build with a special user account. But I have got a idea.If I restart windows, is it possible that I run once the Novell installation?E.g. If I make a cmdline.txt with the commands of the novell installation (script)and I place it in the root of the $oem$ folder (is this all what I must do or must I add a command in the winnt.sif file?) from Windows XP proIs Windows running this file AFTER the reboot?
gtaylor Posted May 10, 2004 Posted May 10, 2004 You should install the Novell Client from your CMDLINES.TXT file. I suggest you read through the following for more information:How to Install the Novell Client
