halohalo Posted August 2, 2025 Posted August 2, 2025 Official link: https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5695/kw/windows 10 NVIDIA will support Windows 10 with GRD and Studio drivers until October 2026. After October 2026, Windows 10 driver support will transition to a quarterly security update through October 2029. --------- Maxwell, Pascal, and Volta GPUs will only receive driver updates for critical security items beginning October 2025 and continuing through October 2028. https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5676/kw/windows 10/related/1
superleiw Posted May 19 Posted May 19 I think they should extend support beyond 2026 for GRD drivers. We are only 5 months away from the deadline now. Windows 10 is still supported through ESU and then there are also LTSC 2019/2021 editions. If their Windows 10 userbase remains large., hopefully they'll review their decision...
EliraFriesnan Posted May 19 Posted May 19 Nothing new! I'd say it's even way more generous than for Vista's support: 2007 - Spring 2016. Less than 9 years.
superleiw Posted May 19 Posted May 19 I think for Vista it made sense because userbase was simply too low. But Windows 10 userbase is still close to 30% of Global Marketshare atm.

They needed to fulfill the period. Titan X from 2015 is supported with Vista, so they must give drivers up to 2025, at least. Ending in 1 year, without telling in advance, is a scammy practice.
