DeekB Posted November 26, 2024 Posted November 26, 2024 (edited) I purchased startall back for windows 11 lastnight. I now want to remove it from my system as its causing a lot of performance issues. I have tried to unload the current user then uninstalled but it seems to have caused me major performance problems with my computer. On a system that is pretty much idle I have high interupts and high CPU, also opening the explorer is visually buggy and everything is taking a lot longer to open than before I insalled this software. Also I removed it and removed the activation info during the uninstall, I then reinstalled it (during troubleshooting of the issue) and it says I have activated twice even although I am currently only trying to test it on a virtual machine within proxmox ve Is there a removal tool that will remove all enteries from the system? also why has it impacted my system so much! DeekB Posted November 26, 2024 Author Posted November 26, 2024 So turns it it was nothing to do with StartAllBack, after many hours of looking and debugging I figured out this setting changed recently and that was the cause of the poor performance! Turning this off improved the performance again! 1
