I'm soon gonna be buying a similar notebook, what you guys suggest? I prefer Fujitsu. For which OS? Ideally, Vista, even the 32bit would suffice, as we know about the bug with after Haswell and Vista 64.

Need a model with a similar card as the OP. With the ability to switch off Intel GPU via BIOS.

Thanks.

anything but a 3050ti, 3060ti, 3070ti or a 3080ti.
make sure you buy one with csm support & muxxed (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multiplexing) support so you can just get the display off the dgpu.
i have a friend that bought this laptop that has a 3080 and supports all of the above, it should run windows 7 just fine
beaware: youre gonna have issues with the trackpad cuz yk.. i2c, and youre also gonna need to swap out the wifi card for a 8265 (also forget about EVEN running vista lol)
i think its this one, but do your research before buying it

You can try looking for laptops with CPUs with NO integrated graphics (yes they do exist (i mean for sure 9300HF exists :) ))

https://www.notebookcheck.net/Intel-Core-i5-9300HF-Processor-Benchmarks-and-Specs.462517.0.html

And those can't possibly be running with Optimus. Weird AMD CPU + Nvidia combos like the one @Aiek link also look promising, but I'm not sure AMD + Nvidia immediately means that they are fine.

But beware that those new Lenovo Legions with Intel 9300HF (and maybe AMD too) have touchpads restricted in ACPI to Windows 10+ and they don't even show up in device manager in Windows 8.1 and below https://msfn.org/board/topic/184465-intel-hid-event-filter-driver-with-modded-acpi-windows-7/

I tried to replace old MSI GeForce GTX 650 Ti 2GB with Gigabyte RTX 3050 6GB on a Windows 10 PC using AMD B550 chipset. Unfortunately the 3050 graphics card couldn't recognize old monitor using legacy HDMI port and showed blank screen, so finally I returned the card.

If I brought my DP 1.4 to HDMI 2.0 cable, or bought different 3050 graphics card with DVI port, maybe I could change the result.

Did you try another cable?

No, because the HDMI cable I used has no problem with GTX 650 Ti 2GB or GTX 960 2GB. I also converted the system drive from MBR to GPT and enabled UEFI before inserting RTX 3050 6GB, but nothing changed. The 3050 6GB graphics card just has compatibility issue with legacy HDMI, however users won't notice the problem when they use HDMI 2.0 compatible monitors.

If I insert both MSI GTX 650 Ti 2GB and Gigabyte RTX 3050 6GB on CSM mode, the basic display adapter driver will show error 31 on 3050, and NVIDIA 475.14 driver with modified INF file will show error 12 on 3050. Anyway, the 3050 6GB graphics card sends no signal on both CSM and UEFI mode when connecting to legacy HDMI port on my old monitor. Besides, WU will install different outdated drivers for 650 Ti and 3050 because there is no official GeForce driver supporting both Kepler and Ampere on Windows 10.
