archangel michael Posted August 15, 2023 Posted August 15, 2023 hi, i am looking for registry key that has to disable or enable accelerated battery discharger to stop this laptop from draining to quickly discharged battery can someone help me? namaste
NotHereToPlayGames Posted August 16, 2023 Posted August 16, 2023 I have never heard of a Win10 option that intentionally discharges the battery at an accelerated pace. Are you referring to things like your SCREEN BRIGHTNESS? Dimming your display will increase battery life. Also, do not use screensavers. Monitor your CPU percentage with a screen saver on versus using none, CPU percentages actually increases when using a screensaver.

NotHereToPlayGames Posted August 18, 2023 Posted August 18, 2023 Again, I have never heard of an "accelerate discharge battery" option in Win10. Please provide why you think such a thing exists. You could just have a NEAR-DEAD battery and you are blaming Win10 when it is really your NEAR-DEAD battery.
