I'm working on moving away from mega due to space limitations and I was wondering what a good free alternative to it would be if anyobe could help with this it would be much appreciated

mediafire is also a good choice of file storage (and its texas based as well)

Ploud is a good choice, but you need to have a minimum knowledge of French because the service is in French and you risk being restricted in speed in another country. Ploud offers 1TB for free I have been using it for several years, it is a very reliable service. ploud.fr
