What would it take to get this NVME driver working in 32 bit XP?

It includes both x64 and x86 drivers. The x86 driver will install in 32 bit XP but then won't start because it says the driver is corrupt or missing. The x86 driver apparently works in Windows 2000 and Server 2003 but for XP only 64 bit is working.

I'd like to be able to plug PCIe x4 NVME drives in adapters into an older (not UEFI) PC running 32 bit XP.
