Sergiaws Posted March 30, 2022 Posted March 30, 2022 as far as I know, VS2019/2022 has a lot of bloatware, so I want to know what version of VS is better. I want VS to experiment with C# and debugging some stuff.
UCyborg Posted March 30, 2022 Posted March 30, 2022 (edited) It probably depends on your needs. I'm out-of-the-loop, haven't done any coding in years. I remember Visual Studio 2008 GUI was the most pleasant in my eyes. This one won't do modern .NET though, 2.0 was enough for my needs back then. 2015 is the oldest version that targets current VC redist for native C/C++ stuff. Apologies for my rambling and not anything more specific. Code is PITA to figure out, never mind the bells and whistles of the development environment. Edited March 30, 2022 by UCyborg
