Sergiaws Posted August 19, 2021 Posted August 19, 2021 As I remember, Bwc backported Adobe Air 3.1.0.4880, but I can't find it. I want to try a program which require it. I plan to run it on Vanilla Windows 2000.
Gansangriff Posted August 19, 2021 Posted August 19, 2021 Is the standard version enough? Good old oldversion.com has all the former versions of Adobe Air: http://www.oldversion.com/windows/adobe-air/
Sergiaws Posted August 19, 2021 Author Posted August 19, 2021 I have the standard version here, but it requires XP or newer. I asked here because I wanted Bwc's version.
testaccount66766 Posted August 19, 2021 Posted August 19, 2021 (edited) Do you have the extended kernel installed? You should be able to get the normal version to work, if you have it installed. (I found this, but the download link seems dead.) Edited August 19, 2021 by testaccount66766
Sergiaws Posted August 19, 2021 Author Posted August 19, 2021 I-m prety sure that it-s possible to install the normal Adobe Air on Windows2000 Extended Kernel. But I just wanted to do an experiment with an application which requires that Adobe Air on a localized Win2K VM. And you know that it-s difficult to localize Kernel EX. So if it still possible to find that backported Adobe Air, I-ll use it. If not, I-ll create a new VM.
testaccount66766 Posted August 19, 2021 Posted August 19, 2021 I’d also recommend attempting to contact BWC, before giving up, to see if he may still have the file somewhere
