how use compare on autoexec.bat and config.sys?

using the autoexec.bat and config.sys, how can i separe the commands: some for others and others for MS-DOS?
how can i use the return key(for i don't press on boot(yes the USB DOS drivers: https://www.classic-computers.org.nz/blog/2018-02-05-USB-in-MS-DOS-and-Win98.htm ask for press the return key)?
