Plutokang Posted July 22, 2020 Posted July 22, 2020 Hello Is it correct that WinNTSetup will not format the usb hard drive when installing windows to this drive? I can use the existing fat32 and ntfs partitions on the drive for the installation of win to usb and LEAVE the existing data partition untouched, correct? Thank you!
jasonjulius1122 Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 Yes, WinNTSetup provides the option to install Windows to a USB hard drive without formatting it. You can utilize the existing FAT32 and NTFS partitions on the drive for the installation process, ensuring that the existing data partition remains untouched. This allows for a seamless installation while preserving your valuable data on the USB hard drive.
