Windows Explorer crashing on every folder

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I run a Windows 7 theme on a couple of Windows 10 machines. Some of them have Aero Glass installed as well, some don't (Aero Glass being broken at the moment anyway).

Now, if I open Windows Explorer by Win+E (Explorer then opens normally), and then click on any drive or folder in Windows Explorer, it instantly crashes.

However, when opening Windows Explorer in other ways and not showing "My PC" but another folder, Windows Explorer works perfectly and doesn't crash on any folder or drive.

Thanks for any experiences or ideas, particularly if that could be caused by that Windows 7 theme?
