Windows Defender "Actions Needed" How I fixed it

Featured Replies

Hi guys:D

I have a customer computer that whas Windows 10 Pro and F-Secure Safe installed....

I continually got warnings about  Windows 10 defender "action needed (regelbunden sökning)"...But there is nothing to do...I have checked for the problem with ransomware that several threads talk about but nothing...or so I thought....

OK the solution was the message for ransomware but you have to turn on"regualar searches" for defender to disable it....

Most security software turn off the local firewall or settings that have anything to do with that....

So, I turned on searching for defender a few seconds and hey presto I had a long list of actions taken/not taken and then I could turn off the one todo with ransomware and One drive...sorry for the Swedish pics... The ransomware one was for "utpressningstrojanskydd"

I hope this helps others that haven't found anything when opening Windows Defender...

One got to "love" those green check-marks (in your second pic). Ms; is this really top of the line, in graphic design?
