Firefox 2 renders the example URL (as displayed in the location bar) as this:

https://www.xn--80ak6aa92e.com/

Opera 12.02 renders the URL as a not-quite-right looking apple.com (looks like appie.com).

Pale Moon 25+26 on XP behave the same way.

I don't have all the Unicode fonts installed so this might have something to do with it. :unsure:
