Are Dec 13 2016 Win 7 Pro 64-bit updates OK?

I ask the title question because Ask Woody is still at defcon 2.  What do you all think?

Obviously it causes nothing catastrophic, or we'd heard about it already... but, nonetheless, it's too soon to know about subtler bugs and the like...
