bookie32 Posted August 24, 2016 Posted August 24, 2016 Hi guys! I have seen all sorts of solutions to missing links in start menu but most of them don't seem to work.... I had "Windows Update" missing from start menu and somwhere I read to go to control panel...right click on "windows update" and create a link and drag it to start menu... OK! that worked as far as creating the link and dragging it to the start menu....but it doesn't work and when I try to remove it I haven't the adminiistrative rights to do so...?!!! Can someone tell me how to fix this and how it should be done the right way? bookie32
vinifera Posted August 26, 2016 Posted August 26, 2016 or go to folder where link is, claim the ownership over a .lnk (yes i had to do same s*** on x64 as hilarious it is...) and simply delete it any pin or so called link is just a shortcut, not that hard to find...
