ertuzio Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 (edited) I would like to know if it is possible to remove Cortana, One Drive and Windows Store apps from Windows image. To remove them with nLite completely from installation image!? Edited February 18, 2016 by ertuzio
nuhi Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 Hi ertuzio, I did get your email, but here goes the reply:Download NTLite (not nLite), the free/personal only version, it can remove enough. Then read guides like this (includes all the options) and this (lists only free options). Let us know if you get stuck in the process.
ertuzio Posted February 19, 2016 Author Posted February 19, 2016 Yes i have tried the NTLite but the options are greyed out... it seems to me that it is not possible to remove those!?!?
nuhi Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 Correct, the explanation is in the top yellow info bar for the blue ones, and on the right of the component in the Extra Info for the locked ones.

Blue locked Components require a License. What, an NTLite License? I'll be getting one when I have to go this direction, just wanted to know for sure.
