I changed they're placement like it used to be and clicked refresh and every icon was back to what it was at the beggining! I can't change it at all! It also afffect my windows exploler/ It do not save what I do there and after re-open that window it is back to previous (not edited) form

this film maybe will show better what I have in mind

Microsoft do not have an answer to that problem. I've tried many things with no succes

I didn't instal any programs and apps recently.

Yes my auto-arrange is disabled.

PLS help.

It seems many have reported this lately, but I am uncertain whether it is specifically a Windows 10 issue or not. The reason is because this issue has been reported in previous versions of Windows as well, sometimes the cause being a virus.

As for Windows 10, I've read people have started to see this happen for a variety of reasons that do not seem to be related. A lot of people say their computer had installed a Windows Update then this happened but it was not the only action people say have happened.

Can you post here the things you've tried already?

While I don't have the problem nor have I any strong ideas how to solve it, I can say that icons on my Win 10 build 10240 system stay where I leave them.  It's not a systemic problem with Windows 10.  Like Tripredacus above I've heard of this problem on and off going wayyy back.

Are you logging out/in or rebooting after making the change, to ensure the settings get saved in your user registry file?

Do you have any uncommon devices plugged-into your video card (e.g., a TV or something)?

1. Refreshing or rebooting system makes that same - everything is going back.

2. No

I heard that the problem vanishes with newest Windows 10 update (10547) for  members of Windows Insider Program
