Problems to be expected with XPsp3?

i replaced my old mobo with a Gigabyte GA-F2A88XM-HDS an all went well until I installed my trusty old XP.

 

I selected both the  English and Norwegian keyboard layouts, but the language selector is missing from the taskbar. And the keyboard I got is definitely not Norwegian, with among other things  [ \ ] instead of Æ Ø Å. Looks more like an English kb.

 

I will install W7 Home Pro on the 2nd partition as soon as I can, will be back here later.

 

And before that, I may try installing XP again.

 

The XP is a version I have been using a lot and I've never had problems like that before.

Check your Regional/Language options in Control Panel again. You may have turned off the Taskbar icon.
