Fresh windows 98 se install. What next?

Hello guys, im new to this forum.

I have a fresh windows 98 se install with drivers installed, everything works fine. But what next?

I dont know if i need to install windows 98 se SP or anything else. What i should install? In what order?

PD: I dont want to modify how it looks windows 98 (its fine for me). Also sorry for my bad english, im a spanish speaker.

Well i think i will install:

1- IE6 and dx 9.0c

2- the windows 98 se sp 3.38

3- kernelEx

is it right?

I'm supposing you've already read the instructions for the USP?

And also followed the link to the *complete* instructions? You *seem* to be following them.

If you have any problems, I would suggest that you request moving this topic to here -

... or else it won't get noticed.

And I guess you're aware that this Sticky Topic is *one* of them that you refer to (besides KernelEx) -

The Members Projects is the place for what you're talking about doing.

If that's the route you've chosen, by all means go for it.

Just be aware of all the Stickies under the 9x Forum regarding RAM, etc.

I say that because you haven't even said what your Machine Specs are, just that you did a Fresh Install.

Its a dual boot with xp sp3. The specs are Intel Atom n455 1.66 ghz, 1gb ram (no mod needed). Again, thank you.
