hajj_3 Posted March 30, 2004 Posted March 30, 2004 anyone help me to install these drivers for my geforce fx 5950 grahics card please!
Alanoll Posted March 30, 2004 Posted March 30, 2004 and what problem do you have?or have you just read? are they not signed or something?
hajj_3 Posted March 30, 2004 Author Posted March 30, 2004 i have xp pro, want to put it on my unattended xp sp2 rc1 integrated cd.the drivers arent signed, it asks you whether or not you want to install becauase they are hvent passed windows logo and some other test.i also would like it not to restart, it asks you whether or not you want to at the end! it uses installshield wizard.
lauredd Posted March 31, 2004 Posted March 31, 2004 In my unatended win2k installation I have some problems with 56.64 . It locks the install if I install them as drivers . So ... pui in your .cmd file %systemdrive%\drivers\detonator56.64\setup.exe -b -s But for this to work in your setup.ins file you must change bootoption from 3 to 0bootoption=0My drivers are from nvidia.com and they are signedORin your winnt.sif OEMPreInstall=YESOemPnPDriversPath="Drivers\detonator56.64"DriverSigningPolicy=Ignore
hajj_3 Posted March 31, 2004 Author Posted March 31, 2004 so if i change the winnt.sif file do i have to create a batch file and do i have to change the boot option from 3 to 0 ?
Alanoll Posted March 31, 2004 Posted March 31, 2004 i believe the man said ORwhy are your drivers not signed? All of the ones from nvidia are signed.
hajj_3 Posted March 31, 2004 Author Posted March 31, 2004 not sure why they arent signed, mine are the official ones !so just editing the winnt.sif file will install them without the need for a batch file ?
hajj_3 Posted March 31, 2004 Author Posted March 31, 2004 also if you do it by editing the .ins file and using the .bat file do you extract the installation program so that there are 50 files, then edit the .ins file and execute the Setup.exe that was compressed into the installer with the other 49 files?
Alanoll Posted March 31, 2004 Posted March 31, 2004 redownload the drivers. They should be signed.and YES, extract the file so there are 50 or whatever.FOLLOW THE LINKS I GAVE YOU!or can you not click on a simple link?
hajj_3 Posted March 31, 2004 Author Posted March 31, 2004 re-downloaded, now they are certified, the filesizes were about 200k different, i downloaded it off their servers before they changed their site, they must have changed it a little when they officially released it !
hajj_3 Posted April 1, 2004 Author Posted April 1, 2004 it didnt work, drivers didnt install when using virtual pc 2004, please can someone help me, my code is here: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=17302
enternaL Posted April 3, 2004 Posted April 3, 2004 The reason why they won't install on Virtual PC 2004 is because Virtual PC doesn't use your real video card; it uses (rather emulates) S3 Trio32/64. Not all nVidia drivers are WHQL certified/signed since they're regularly updated. The 56.64 and the new 56.72 drivers are both signed. I guess the only way is to test it on a system with a nVidia card.
