  1. I have no problem installing linux ( redhat 9 Mandrake ) with VirtualPC
  2. You can just archive your winamp 5.03 folder and make a full silent exe install . ( with winrar ) . And for best results ( without the "can't find file px.dll " ) put your px.dll file in the archive . Run in your .cmd file
  3. In my unatended win2k installation I have some problems with 56.64 . It locks the install if I install them as drivers . So ... pui in your .cmd file %systemdrive%\drivers\detonator56.64\setup.exe -b -s But for this to work in your setup.ins file you must change bootoption from 3 to 0 bootoption=0 My drivers are from nvidia.com and they are signed OR in your winnt.sif OEMPreInstall=YES OemPnPDriversPath="Drivers\detonator56.64" DriverSigningPolicy=Ignore
  4. I have made a great unatended 2000 instalation with xpcreate and then $oem$ and stuff. THX msfn.org . But I have detected some problems with Detonator 56.64 . It hangs the install program when detecting the hardware . So use detonator with [guirunonce] ( in setup.ins -> bootoption=0 ; and then setup.exe -b -s ) . You can "upgrade" your boot manager for the version in 2000 to xp or 2003 or even longhorn ( recomandated ) . Copy over the files ntldr and ntdetect.com from longhorn to i386 an the install cd . You can even chance the text that apear in boot . Modify txtsetup.sif ( in i386 ) and at [strings] put yours wks_id = "Unatended Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional" wks_id_vga = "Unatended Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional [VGA mode]"
