Looks like we might see Google stop forcing us to have a Google+ account to do Google things.

I hated it from the outset and for those like me that like their YouTube, Gmail or Google Chrome accounts disconnected from Google+ may finally see the light of day. Yipee!

Hopefully this means someday soon I can detach my Youtube account from Google+. Then hopefully it will no longer be disabled due to "names policy" and I can comment on videos again.
