maxXPsoft Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 Not sure what removed since I haven't messed with that in awhile. Why not just put on VLC it plays everything and free. http://www.videolan.org/
albator Posted December 8, 2013 Author Posted December 8, 2013 Thank, I already use VLC, but I want to add mediaplayer too.
bphlpt Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 This is the biggest problem with removing a feature by trying to "Lite" an OS in some way, rather than just disabling any feature or service that you do not need or want. Whether you are able to reinstall any removed feature probably depends on exactly what was removed, which tool was used for the removal, and what all has been done with the computer since the removal was done. I'm afraid I don't have any advice on how to reinstall Media Player since I personally do not remove any feature from any OS that I install, but perhaps someone else who has at least tried it will post. I'm sure this is not the first time this has occurred.Cheers and Regards
MAVERICKS CHOICE Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Depends whether you disabled? or totally removed it!You can try drilling down tthrough Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features then click on turn windows features on or off, left hand pane.& look on the list for WMP.
