a better thing to do would be to create properties for each component, and have them in all UPPERCASE and then make them install if they are true.

then when you release the MSI, the end user can type winamp.msi /VIDEO=TRUE /AUDIO=FALSE

and winamp will install with Video support, but not Audio.

Or is that too complex for ya X? :)

i havent removed any soundplugins...px.dll is in my .msi file, dont know which 2 others u mean, but its there i think :)

visual plugins,video assoc and modern skin is removed

i dont know how to make properties for each component...have no idea how to do that :rolleyes:

also when i find out who makes the winamp installers I'm gonna have some things to discuss with that person. :)

I don't usually go to the winamp forums, do they supply the default installer with this type of switches.? (maybe in 5.03?)

nope. lol.

the official one is /S and something like /SQDFA or something like that. The latter doesn't work. They're suppose dto be fixing it 3 versions ago. :)
