AnX
When I try and go to standby with PAE enabled, and then resume, Windows 2000 lags to the point where it's unusable. Without PAE Standby works as it's supposed to, I've just resumed from standby using the standard kernel. Also it seems that 7-zip's benchmark is 1000 MIPS less in PAE. Honestly, even though PAE gives more RAM to the system, its performance and stability hit is enough for me to avoid it. I'm using Win2k standard kernel and living with 3.5GB of RAM, until a viable solution is found. My PC specs are in my sig. tomasz86
I haven't experienced such problems with PAE and I use standby on a daily basis. Maybe some of the drivers are buggy and cause those issues?
