February 14, 201313 yr My computer freezes up when I am playing games. Sometimes the screen just locks and I have to shut the computer down and restart. Other times the screen becomes discolored with lines and I get a loud buzz from the speakers. I have also got a blue screen that says it is doing a "file dump". I referred the problem to Dell and they said it was a problem with my graphics card driver and they uninstalled and reinstalled the card and updated the drivers; however, I continue to have this problem. This has also occurred when in Email and when working with other files, but mostly when playing games. I browzed for answers and downloaded "pc health boost" but they wanted me to pay for the fix and I did not even know if they were a scam or not. Any help will be greatly appreciated.I am attaching my dxdiag file.DxDiag.txt
February 15, 201313 yr You can try to use BlueScreenView v1.46 - View BSOD (blue screen) to open the minidump file created and read about the error found!Maybe the trouble is with the screen monitor?DELL link: Studio XPS 435T/9000 Edited February 15, 201313 yr by myselfidem
February 15, 201313 yr It's possible you are having a problem with your video card. I have used this tool OCCT to test video cards. My last one had a few hundred errors after running for 1 minute. Maybe it can tell you something as well?http://files.extremeoverclocking.com/file.php?f=214
