Aloha Posted September 7, 2012 Posted September 7, 2012 I notice that on RTM, the aero is still enabled on the taskbar. It is only disabled on the title bar. This makes RTM look brighter than RP even when I choose a dark theme.Reading your guide makes me wonder if we can do the opposite. Can we get files from RTM then put them into RP and make them work there?

There must be an easier way. The Win8 RTM files still check if glass is allowed to be enabled. The RTM files (uDMW.dll) have a function called AdjustWindowColorization which sets the opaque color (s_clrDefaultInactiveWindowBaseColor this seams to be the gray and s_clrDefaultActiveWindowBaseColor for the new forground color), which the RP also has this function but doesn't use those values ...
