Speech Recognition Software

I have been asked to research speech rcognition software for and older couple.

Here is the main reqiurments i see them needing:

Trainability (for them AND it)

Ease of use

HAS to work on XP

Reasonable cost.

Most cross-over functionaltiy.

PLEASE guys let me have all of the opinions info you can find or know of...

That's the one that came to mind for me, too. But I admit I've never used a speech recognition package.
