mcrazza
I'm trying to burn a bootable CD with WinXP Home Edition with SP3 slipstreamed using the latest version of nLite but after I click the "Burn" button and wait for 5mins+ I keep getting the notification 'Write failed! Hardware Error "256"'.I must point out that I'm using a virtualisation software called "VirtualBox" that allows me to run Windows XP (and any other O.S.) on my mac (OS X 10.7 Lion). I'm quite sure I have the correct settings for VirtualBox so I don't think I have a problem on that end.Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance. Sp0iLedBrAt
Yep. Instead of burning, make an ISO, export (copy) it to your physical machine through Shared Folders and burn it on your PC.
