my win7 dvd is rt7lite-d, thus it does not have recovery options on it

now since I read that winre.wim is working(?) with that recovery thing on OS DVD, then I have no use of it on my hard drive

so question is can I then delete it or windows loads this file in normal mode too ?

In this case, you are safe to delete the winre.wim. Windows won't have a need for it unless you have programmed the recovery options in the BCD.

BCDEdit can only show you the options of the OS you are currently booted into.

If you want to disable the recovery option, you can run this from an elevated command prompt:

reagentc /disable
