vinifera
story goesmy win7 dvd is rt7lite-d, thus it does not have recovery options on itnow since I read that winre.wim is working(?) with that recovery thing on OS DVD, then I have no use of it on my hard driveso question is can I then delete it or windows loads this file in normal mode too ? Tripredacus
In this case, you are safe to delete the winre.wim. Windows won't have a need for it unless you have programmed the recovery options in the BCD.

Tripredacus
BCDEdit can only show you the options of the OS you are currently booted into.
