Disable Windows 7 self restarting

Hello,

Please I've an issue with windows 7 and I do not know how to solve it.

I've found Windows 7 keep restarting from time to time after applying some settings or applying some updates.

I've a very important work that keep running most of the day at my computer at home, if the computer did a restart that will screw what I am doing.

I've tried to adjust power settings plan but found it keep restarting after any updates or settings changed.

Please advise urgently how to solve this issue as it is urgent for me.

Does this PC get updates from Windows Update or WSUS? I remember that some configs of WSUS will reboot a PC without user interaction. It was very annoying.
