nlite extraction problem

Using nlite when I modify drivers in my windows xp sp2 setup I get a error that driver.cab is corrupted.I think it is the fault of nlite that it can't extract the cab file.Is there any way to fix this?

I would guess it's a problem with your source. Open up driver.cab manually and see how it reacts.

Thanks I tried to extract it winrar but after some time it showed corrupted.Is there any problem if I delete it ? Beacuse I am currently using the windows and I am not having any problem.And How can I use driverpacks with nlite please explain

Yes, there will be more than one problem if you delete driver.cab. I'd also agree it's a problem with the source. Are you using a CD, an .iso file...? Is it a retail, OEM version... There are two ways of copying the source to your PC: manually or let nLite do it. If you tried one way, try the other as well.

I have gotten this error from using nLite under 2 conditions:

When I have an AV running

When I am running Win7 as my host OS...

I bet you are doing one of these 2 things.
