dencorso Posted May 6, 2011 Posted May 6, 2011 I'm looking for MOVEHDD.SYS which is part of Clyde Washburn’s ‘Second Nature’ ROM utilities. I believe it is freeware, but I don't really know its status, nor whether any copy of it still exists. Of course, do keep in mind MSFN Rule #1: if MOVEHDD.SYS turns out ot be commercial or not redistributable, do not post links to it nor attach it, in case you have it. But I really do doubt it even exists anymore. I can't find more than a single reference to it throughout the net, which is this one. I'm interested in moving the XBDA in my Eee PC 900, under MS-DOS 7.10 and it seems this is the way to do it. Any info about this or similar programs will be highly appreciated. Solid info about moving the XBDA is also quite welcome.
Multibooter Posted May 7, 2011 Posted May 7, 2011 I'm looking for MOVEHDD.SYS which is part of Clyde Washburn’s ‘Second Nature’ ROM utilities. I believe it is freeware, but I don't really know.In this link http://www.google.com/search?q=%22secnat%22.zip&hl=en&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq= (strange positioning of the quotation marks!) you can find at the top of the search results "/ Index ..."These server listings contain a file SECNAT.ZIP, which contains only SECNAT.TXT, a description of Clyde Washburn's SECOND NATURE Accessory ROM Set http://cd.textfiles.com/pcmedic9310/UTILS/HARDWARE/SECNAT.ZIP There may be a remote chance that the text there could help you formulate a new Google search string for finding zip files containing MOVEHDD.SYS.
dencorso Posted September 26, 2012 Author Posted September 26, 2012 Just to point out I remain interested in this matter. I just found an interesting photo of Clyde Washburn’s ‘Second Nature’ ROMs, so here I share it with you.
