sumonpathak Posted April 24, 2011 Share Posted April 24, 2011 hi.....am the new guy here.....as from my signature you can see that i am overclocker....so i need the Os to be the lightest an less taxing.....i pretty much create all of my OS from an RTM copy......but am stuck......hence the query.....i want to create an OS which will have minimal load on the system....the only thing i will need is network(sometimes) and wallpaper support...so which options will i have to keep enabled?Please help me:)thanks in advancesumon aka prince Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
submix8c Posted April 24, 2011 Share Posted April 24, 2011 This is more a nLite (remove components) subject.Otherwise, just disabling everything you don't need. allen2 Posted April 25, 2011 Share Posted April 25, 2011 The theme service is needed for mostly effects but there i assumed you were speaking about XP. The wallpaper support is embbed in explorer.exe in XP so as long as you don't remove explorer, you'll have wallpaper support. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
