downdog89
I am trying to install Windows XP on a brand new hard drive. I created an .iso with the necessary SATA driver for my MSI K8T Neo motherboard. After I boot from the CD what needs to be done so I can install the SATA controller which will enable my computer to recognize my new hard drive?Thank you for looking. Ponch
I created an .iso with the necessary SATA driver for my MSI K8T Neo motherboard.Do you mean "using nLite, I created an iso, of an XP installation disc that includes SATA drivers for my motherboard".If yes and successfull, there is nothing to do other than boot from the CD and install XP, it should see the drive. Also to be sure, when you say "I boot from the cd", you do mean "I boot from the cd I made based on the new ISO", right? If this is not what you meant, please elaborate on what you've done exactly (and if applies, please attach, not paste, your "Last session.ini") and what your problem is, if any.
