dmikester1 Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 (edited) Can you use an upgrade disc to create an unattended install of Windows 7? I have an upgrade disc of Windows 7 Pro x64. I know there are methods to do a clean install from the upgrade disc. My ultimate goal is to copy the unattended install to my 8GB XT flash drive and use that. Has anyone here used an upgrade disc for this? Or is everyone using the full install disc?ThanksMike Edited March 12, 2011 by dmikester1
maxXPsoft Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 my upgrade disk I got from Dell some time ago was identical to a full install disk except the ei.cfg file in sources. just delete it
