nLite to Make App Specific WinXP?

Would like to use nLite to reduce WinXP so it can replace WinME on an older Laptop.

This Laptop will have No Net or Internet connection and only be used for Word Processing.

Hope some others have already done something similar and would share suggestions.

Of course, use the search function in the nLite forum and use keywords such as "slim", "extreme removal" etc.

Out of experience, even if you don't use System Restore, do NOT remove it from the install CD, or you will get some very strange errors.
