Hi And Good Afternoon, could i get a little help please

Featured Replies

Hi All im Nathan, im the Owner and Computer Geek of Computers Fixed 4U, and im completly lost, (and quiet tired lol).

Im sure its been posted many a time so please forgive me, but ive spent all night trying to work out what im doing wrong.

Basically ive managed to get my applications (firefox, flash, adobe etc) to load up the first page for install, but i still have to manually command it to click, "next" "accept terms and conditions etc". I know i need to creat a .bat file to manually install all of this, but im not a programmer and although i have a basic understanding, im still lost as to what im supposed to include, and where to put it.

Would it be possible for someone to just point me in the right direction or email me a sample script of what im supposed to type, i was quite pleased i got this far, but ive tried reasearching and still havent got very far.

Again my appologies if this has been asked before (im sure im not going to be the last)

Nathan

Welcome to MSFN, Nathan.

The ways of silently installing applications are in this sub-forum http://www.msfn.org/...ation-installs/ . I'm pretty sure you'll find all your answers there. Here's an example of a batch file that supposes you have an $OEM$ folder on the install CD where the applications are put. Also see this http://unattended.ms...xp/view/web/30/ this http://unattended.ms...xp/view/web/31/ and this http://unattended.ms...xp/view/web/59/

On a more serious note, I'd like to ask you, in accordance to forum rules (http://www.msfn.org/...tion=boardrules), to post a specific question in the topic title and always do it in the appropriate forums (unless you are using WPI).This will attract people more efficiently and you will get replies more quickly.

Cheers
