AppDeploy Repackager..Bad To Use?

For programs i can't find silent installs for or figure a way to silent install it cuz im completely overwhelmed by all these things and am having a hard time understanding and finding everything would it be okay to use this appdeploy tool? i read that it may be bad to use just not sure why, i tried it already with a couple programs seemed to work wonders, but i haven't tried it on a brand new installation yet.

The AppDeploy I found is an MSI repackager. You shouldn't have a problem doing a silent on an MSI unless it has a wrapper like MSSE or Nero does.
