  1. no i've used that program before thats not the kind of report im looking for ill give a link to show what im looking for lol. Speccy does similar but it doesn't display dates/times software installs. Heres a sample report. SAMPLE and heres features of the program HERE. you'll probably say well whats wrong with that program, and this is what...it gives some incorrect information so thats why i would like a sophisticated one...for e.g under OS it says i have windows 6.0 when i have windows 8 pro 64bit..doesnt display any of that, all the manufacturer stuff was blank..it didnt give a list of all my installed programs only a few...so i want a more accurate one is all I guess.
  2. Hi, I'm looking for a software program that is very detailed in generating reports on absolutely everything on a PC...I fix computers, and some customers will come back to me saying I put stuff on their pc and such, or this was never here before, what kind of people do you have working for you..So I need a program that will generate a report, then I can save this file, and then when/if I get a skeptical customer, make up another report and call them on it, now proving my innocence! I've tried lookinmypc..a freeware program..i'm looking for something much more sophisticated. Thanks!
  3. I'm not very literate when it comes to digging through windows files and such but I did find this that may be useful to someone. I found the location of all the windows apps on start screen they're located here "C:\Program Files\WindowsApps" *You have to give yourself permissions as this folder is "access denied" the WindowsApps folder is hidden as well. and I also found this path, which contains .xml files for those apps and that is located here "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\AppRepository\" And lastly the registry location "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\AppModel\SystemAppData" Hopefully this helps someone figure out how to change the icons, cuz this as well bothers me. attempting to look through the files seems to me like, the icon all comes from the .xml file looks like they use a bg color and then just a regular image and the same for a splash screen which happens when you click on it. Like I said I don't know much just throwing this all out here.
  4. For programs i can't find silent installs for or figure a way to silent install it cuz im completely overwhelmed by all these things and am having a hard time understanding and finding everything would it be okay to use this appdeploy tool? i read that it may be bad to use just not sure why, i tried it already with a couple programs seemed to work wonders, but i haven't tried it on a brand new installation yet.
  5. The slim version wont silent install for me. i used the switch /S and a windows pop-up appears asking to run the file.
  6. Start RT7 lite. Once you've pointed the program to your windows image, and it finishes loading, you should be able to navigate to C:\Users\current user\AppData\Local\Temp\RT7_Mount\ and paste your folders right in the desktop folder. Of course, you'll want to do this before RT7 lite does it's thing and rebuilds the image. I've tried that, it didn't work.
  7. Are the drivers signed? no idea lol they're ATI graphic drivers...k yea they are signed by "Microsoft Windows Hardware Compatibility Publisher" I don't know about ATI, but Nvidia drivers haven't been directly integrateable for about a year now...signed or not. However, you can try a driver pack from http://driverpacks.net/driverpacks The only downside is that the drivers aren't always the latest...their last Nvidia update was in July. Something else you can try is to get drivers from Windows Update. In order to do this, I uninstalled and deleted all of my current Nvidia drivers, rebooted, and then had Windows Update download and install the drivers. Afterwards, you can navigate to C:/Windows/System32/DriverStore/Drivers and arrange the folders by date, then copy the folder to integrate into your image. Worked like a charm with Nvidia drivers. Alright thanks alot man, my other question now was to get my own folders to appear on the desktop so it was there when windows finished installing anyway of doing this? i tried mounting my image then moving folders to admin's desktop but...it didn't work lol if only it was that easy.
  8. Is it possible to add in your own folders or files..so that once windows setup is completed and it loads desktop that you could have your folders on the desktop?
  9. Are the drivers signed? no idea lol they're ATI graphic drivers...k yea they are signed by "Microsoft Windows Hardware Compatibility Publisher"
  10. alright how come my drivers wont integrate like i put the .INF's but once installation is complete they werent installed and is it possible to have my own custom folders on the desktop once its done?
  11. worked this time i think maybe when i downloaded it last time there was an error with the download i re-downloaded it and it was fine.
  12. Hello! I've tried successfuly! It's needed the correct Service Pack 1: x64 for Windows 7 x64 and x86 for Windows 7 x86! Check if you have selected the correct Service Pack 1 for the integration! Download link Service Pack 1 (English) You must select the language you need for the Service Pack 1: Example SP1: for me French Help about Service Pack 1 Rockers Team *Edit: Extract the files inside the ISO ( SP1) to a folder, and after you can select x64 SP1 or x86 SP1 for the integration, if you have downloaded the 7601.17105.100929-1730-3_Update_Sp_Wave1-RC1SP1.1_DVD.iso ill try the .iso extraction suggestion i just downloaded the 64bit file from microsoft hasn't worked tried a few times..so maybe that will work will let you know.
  13. Slipstreaming SP1 wont work just goes for about 10..15min then says service pack was not installed successfully im using the beta build 2.5.0 of rt seven lite. Also don't know if this helps but when i browse for the sp1 when it starts to install it doesnt show any info on it its just blank
