problem deleting temporary files

Hi.

Yesterday I tried to use vlite to modify Windows 7 x86 installation files. On my computer I have same OS.

I changed a few settings and clicked on Apply.

After a few minutes Windows 7 said that vlite stopped responding. I closed it.

In temporary files folder I found a "vsTemp19" folder (I think install.wim decompressed). About 9 GB total size.

I tried to erase it. Most of the files were erased but for some of them the file manager (Explorer and Total Commander) is saying "access is denied" or "file not found".

I tried from another OS, I tried with Unlocker - nothing.

The only solution that I know it's working is to format the drive. But I can't do that.

Is there something that can be done...?

Thank you in advance.

Best regards, Cosmin3

Later edit: I tried everything from http://www.sevenforums.com/general-discussion/16618-can-t-delete-folder-you-need-permission-2.html except with "norton ghost recovery disk" (because I don't have one). Nothing worked.

Later later edit: I even tried with Linux, without success.
