right Alt key as left Alt key

Hi.

In switching from Windows XP to Windows 7 I encountered some problems.

One of them is that I can't use right Alt key in combination with other keys. For example Alt + Return, Alt + F[5..12] in some programs...

Is there a way to change its "behavior" to work exactly like left Alt key (like it does in Windows XP)?

I searched on Google and I searched here but I didn't find anything useful. But if I didn't search properly sorry in advance.

I'd first try using another keyboard. I have no problem using either ALT key. Also post what Win7 you are using including locale.

There are some programs you can use to remap keys on the keyboard, but I don't think that will be a fix.

I found out why is doing that and I'm feeling kind of stupid cause I didn't think of this first.

Windows 7 installed (by default, without asking me) United States-International keyboard layout.

I switched to US and now is fine.
