Ha, but why buy an extra RAID controller? They're pretty expensive for one that's actually good.

He has some 15k rpm SAS drives ;). But yes, for some 145GB space he could be better off using other drives like a SDD (40-64GB for 110-130USD) or SDD with some HDDs for storage.
