Tools needed to make own addons/silent installs

Featured Replies

Hello everyone

Am new to Windows slipstreaming, and would like to know what tools are available so that I could create my own Windows XP/Vista addons to slipstream in my dvds, I tried with nlite but failed, and thus am looking for some tools which could like for example enable me to create my own OpenOffice addon from its normal setup file to add to my Vista SP1 for example. And also recommend a tool which will enable me to slipstream the 2 without too much fuss :blushing:

Anyone can help? pls keep in my that am new to this and will may be need some detailed help on your behalf to get things going :P

Welcome to MSFN

http://www.msfn.org/...cation-add-ons/ is the place to look for plenty of ready-made add-ons and video tutorials on how to create them. Otherwise, there is the Add-on Maker http://www.msfn.org/...20addon%20maker or even better, here

Edit: to slipstream to Vista, you must use vLite http://www.msfn.org/...orum/153-vlite/
