esecallum
Anyone know of a reliable way to clone vistato a different sata hard drive o the same computer in case of hard drive failure.Someone said i could use acronis baclup/restore and simply copy the vista partition to the new sata drive but i don't know if this will work, but then they said i should use the copy function in acronis true image...i am confused now.again xxclone has also been mentioned but is unclear if it will actually boot as it copies file and does not do sector by sector coping...i just want to do a straight forward clone of vista home edition from the original hard drive to the new in the same computer in case of failure and also i want to try dual boot the original hard drive with xp and don't want to lose vista ,if it does not work out ,hence the cloned requirement.the new hard drive is 200gb the original is 160gb.sorry for the spelling but this keyboard is failing...arrghhh.
