Microsoft file and printer sharing

Recommended Posts

Hello

I belong to a network of computers that share files and folders etc.. recently with increased traffic the connection is somtimes lost for a second or two and then reconnects. This causes any files im copying to abort and I must restart manually. Is there a way to have thins occur automatically, is there a smart utility or a way to set my connection parameters to keep retrying before an abort etc...

Thanks for any help

If connections are getting dropped because the network is getting overcrowded,

I would urge the network/systems-administrator to invest in a network-upgrade

or a network-redesign for the new situation.
