adrian2055 Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 (edited) Hey Guys I was wondering how it's possible to get aero enabled on vista home basic. I've seen several laptops with home basic that have aero enabled. I didn't think this was possible even with a videocard that met requirements to run aero. How is that possible? erpdude8 Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 (edited) only problem is, it only enables "partial" Aero support on Vista basic.I know from actual experience since I do have a Dell Inspiron laptop with pre-installed Vista Home basic edition.Important quote from the WinVistaClub page:NOTE: It is not possible to enable full Vista Glass Effect on Windows Vista Home Basic by any meanssure, you'll get some Aero support on Vista basic with those tips/hacks, except for the Aero "Glass" feature.
