mainpage Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 Which one of these would I need to have a up to date .NET Framework?I've read that all the framworks are cumulative, so that would mean that 3.5 SP1 should only be needed then. But theres some conflicting things I've read saying that 1.1 and 4.0 are totally different and programs needing 1.1 wont work with 2 and 3 and ones needing 3+ have problems with 4.Are there any nLite addons? 'cause I'd prefer using nLite addons instead of RyanVM packs.
Sp0iLedBrAt Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 Yes, there are nLite add-ons and there is a Silent .NET Maker which you can find if you use search in this sub-forum. Anyway, the add-ons found on the RyanVM forums are also compatible with nLite.
Kelsenellenelvian Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 .net is not truly backwards compatable. You do need an a-i-o .net addon.
mainpage Posted May 24, 2010 Author Posted May 24, 2010 You do need an a-i-o .net addon"a-i-o" All in one? So I would have to... integrate all of them into one package
Sp0iLedBrAt Posted May 24, 2010 Posted May 24, 2010 "a-i-o" All in one? So I would have to... integrate all of them into one package Yes and yes (if you are using the Silent .NET Maker); otherwise you could download and use one of the ones already made, and there are plenty of them around, some even localized in several languages. There hasn't been a .NET Framework security/stability update or hotfix for versions 3.5SP1 and down in quite a while (at least two months), so they should be pretty up-to-date.
